A Senior Farm Hand is a skilled, hands-on role that supports livestock and mixed-farming operations.
Main Responsibilities:
Handling cattle using low-stress stockmanship techniques
Assisting with livestock production and herd management
Operating and maintaining farm machinery
Cropping and irrigation work
Fencing, repairs, and general property maintenance
Record-keeping and operational reporting
Supporting the Station Manager and making day-to-day operational decisions
Following animal welfare and workplace safety standards
Requirements:
Experience in cattle and mixed-farming operations
Machinery operation skills
Mechanical and maintenance abilities
Ability to work independently in remote locations
Driver's licence (machinery or HR licences are advantageous)
Pay: $5,800.00 – $8,000.00 per month
