Barista and Cafe All-Rounder
If you enjoy the hustle and bustle of a busy cafe and enjoy getting to know your customers, then Muffin Break is just the place.
We are looking for energetic baristas and cafe all-rounders to join our team and hit the ground running. Customer service and cash handling are all part of this role. Experience is highly regarded, however, full training is also provided. This position will require some early start(7-8 AM)/weekend work, and flexible availability.
Food Preparation
Our cabinets are filled with muffins, slices and cakes, pies, quiches and more, all made fresh each day in-store.
This position requires a person with an eye for detail and a love of working with good quality food. Customer service is a part of this role too!
Experience in food preparation is highly regarded, however, further training is provided.

This position is responsible for:
- Delivering friendly service, a warm welcome, ensuring wait times are kept to a minimum
- Knowledge of the menu
- Cashiering
- Team player
- All things coffee, delivering freshly grind coffee to every order
- Ensuring extraction is between 25-30 seconds, quality takes a little time!
- Assist in other roles in the café
- Ensure the coffee machine and equipment is in tip top working order
- Food preparation of freshly baked muffins with an early start to the day
- Health and safety practices in the kitchen and service areas
- Making sure that the cabinet is well presented with all our favourites and something special every day
