About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) to join our growing team as a Mobile Practitioner. This role involves delivering evidence-based exercise and lifestyle interventions directly within the community, helping clients improve their health, function, independence, and quality of life.
The successful candidate will work independently across a range of settings while being supported by a team of EPs. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Service Delivery
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing reviews.
- Develop, implement, and progress individualised exercise programs.
- Deliver exercise physiology services in community, home-based, residential aged care, workplace, and fitness settings.
- Educate clients on exercise, injury management, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyle behaviours.
- Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain a high standard of patient-centred care and professional practice.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Physiology.
- Current ESSA Accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence, reliable motor vehicle, car insurance.
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance (or ability to obtain).
- National Police Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Working With Children Check (where applicable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
