Challenger Services Group is looking for enthusiastic Part-Time Kitchen Stewards to join our hospitality team. Working in premium commercial kitchens, you'll play an essential role in supporting chefs and kitchen teams by maintaining exceptional cleanliness, food safety and operational standards.
Every shift is different, and your contribution helps deliver outstanding dining experiences for our clients and their guests.
As a Kitchen Steward, you'll be responsible for:

Supporting the daily operation of busy commercial kitchens.

Operating commercial dishwashers and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment.

Cleaning and storing kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils.

Preparing equipment for functions and events.
-
Assisting chefs with general kitchen duties as required.

Following food safety, HACCP, workplace safety and company procedures at all times.
You'll be someone who:

Enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Has previous experience in a commercial kitchen or stewarding role.

Understands safe manual handling, food safety and chemical handling practices.

Is reliable, punctual and enjoys working as part of a team.

Is available to work a rotating 7-day roster between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
