The Role
As Senior Contracts Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial and contractual management of project delivery activities.
- Administer contracts across the project lifecycle, ensuring key obligations, deliverables, milestones and timeframes are clearly understood and managed.

Prepare, review and manage contractual correspondence, notices, claims, variations, extensions of time and supporting documentation.

Support the assessment, negotiation and administration of contract variations, progress claims, payment certifications and contract close-out activities.

Provide contractual and commercial support to project managers, procurement teams, suppliers and subcontractors to resolve issues and support project outcomes.

Monitor contract performance, compliance requirements, commercial risks and emerging issues, escalating matters where required.

Maintain accurate contract records, registers and documentation in line with governance, audit and project requirements.

Support procurement and package management activities, including tender evaluations, recommendations, contract awards and supplier/subcontractor administration.

Assist with the preparation of commercial reports, cost forecasts, contract status updates and project reporting.

Identify commercial risks and opportunities and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies and practical solutions.

Support continuous improvement of contract administration processes, templates, reporting practices and governance standards.
About You
You will be an experienced contracts professional who is highly organised, commercially minded and confident working in a fast-paced project delivery environment.

Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, law, construction management, project management or a related discipline; or equivalent relevant experience.

5+ years’ experience in contract administration, ideally within engineering, construction, mining, resources or project delivery.

Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and stakeholder requirements in a fast-paced project environment.

Strong attention to detail, document control discipline and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel; experience with project, procurement or contract management systems would be advantageous.
