Mobile Dialysis Unit Coordinator: Registered Nurse (Dialysis)
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mobile Dialysis Unit Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in overseeing the operations of our mobile dialysis unit, ensuring that we deliver excellent patient care while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Remuneration: $48.5 - $65.09+ AUD base per hour + Superannuation + LAFA
Hours Per Week: 38 – 42
Location: NSW, QLD, SA and WA (Multiple Locations)
About The Role:
- The Registered Nurse (Dialysis) purpose is to deliver direct, safe and comprehensive care for renal haemodialysis patients within the Mobile Unit setting.

To take full responsibility for preparing, monitoring and administering dialysis treatments for patients with renal failure.

Assess patient fistula, vas cath.

Administering medications and therapies as prescribed by the nephrologist/VMO.

Monitoring patient weight, vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate before, during, and after dialysis treatment.

Monitor and adjust patient fluid removal rates as required.

Operating and maintaining dialysis machines and equipment.

Communicating with patients and their families about the dialysis process and providing emotional support.

Coordinate daily operations of the mobile dialysis unit, reviewing scheduling patient appointments and staff assignments.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of patient care.

Collaborate with Nephrologist/VMO to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding dialysis treatment options and procedures.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of the mobile unit, implementing improvements as necessary.

Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and unit operations.
About You:
- Current AHPRA registration.

Bachelors in Nursing.
-
Proficient knowledge about dialysis treatment and kidney diseases to effectively assist and educate patients about their condition.

Proven work experience as a Dialysis Registered Nurse using Fresenius 4008/ 5008 for more than 4-5 years with documented competency completion including fistula and Vascular catheter access.

To have knowledge and understanding and demonstrate dialysis machine cleaning, disinfection and water testing.

Demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices.

Up-to-date police check and an unrestricted Driver’s License to be able to drive in NSW (we can support you acquiring these if you don’t already have them)

Certification of Basic Life Support (BLS)

Current National Criminal History (police check) less than 6 months old
