The Opportunity:
Join K&S at our Truganina Corporate Head Office and become part of a collaborative team of 20 IT professionals supporting an Australasia transport and logistics operation.
Reporting to the IT Operations Team Leader, you’ll lead the design, delivery and ongoing optimisation of our hybrid IT infrastructure, ensuring the performance, security and availability of business-critical systems. Leveraging extensive experience across infrastructure, systems administration and IT operations, you’ll combine technical expertise with a strong service mindset to deliver reliable technology outcomes and drive continuous improvements.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Design, implement and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
Manage virtualised environments, server technologies, storage platforms and networking infrastructure.
Ensure reliable service delivery, system availability and performance in line with business requirements and service standards.
Lead infrastructure and technology projects from planning through to successful delivery.
Maintain and enhance disaster recovery capabilities and business continuity processes.
Oversee data recovery processes and support business continuity objectives.
Administer Microsoft enterprise technologies including Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services and clustering.
Support and optimise ManageEngine platforms across service management, endpoint management and IT operations.
Manage networking and telecommunications technologies including Fortinet solutions, wireless networking, security protocols and IP telephony.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to team members.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver practical, responsive and customer-focused technology solutions.
Follow all company policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
What Success Looks Like:
You have demonstrated career progression into senior technical roles, taking ownership of infrastructure, systems administration and service delivery functions.
You have built extensive experience supporting and improving enterprise IT infrastructure within complex environments.
You confidently lead infrastructure initiatives and provide technical guidance across systems, networks and cloud technologies.
You bring strong expertise in VMware, server technologies, storage platforms and hybrid IT environments.
You successfully deliver technology projects while balancing operational priorities and stakeholder expectations.
You take a proactive approach to troubleshooting, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
You understand the importance of disaster recovery, business continuity and information security in maintaining reliable services.
You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building strong working relationships across the business.
You are committed to service excellence and delivering positive outcomes for internal customers.
What you’ll bring:
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
ITIL certification or practical experience working within IT service management frameworks
Microsoft certifications such as MCSE, MCSA or MCITP highly regarded.
Flexibility to provide occasional after-hours support when required.
