About the Role
As Club Lounge Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our prestigious Langham Club. You will guide and inspire your team to deliver personalized, intuitive service and ensure that every moment reflects the sophistication and charm The Langham is known for.
You will be part of our close-knit Langham Club team of 10 dedicated hospitality professionals, working closely with the Guest Relations Manager to deliver an exceptional experience for our Club guests. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your leadership journey, while developing your skills within one of Melbourne’s leading luxury hotels.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire the Club Lounge team to ensure seamless daily operations.

Create memorable experiences for Club guests through attentive, intuitive and anticipatory service.

Display expert knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, confidently making recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Oversee pre-service and post-service preparation to maintain our high standards.

Assist with guest arrivals, check-ins, and check-outs for Club guests.

Collaborate closely with departments including Housekeeping, Front Office, Chuan Spa, Food & Beverage, and Engineering to deliver a flawless guest journey.
- Proactively manage guest feedback and service recovery, resolving concerns with professionalism, discretion and care.
- Coach, mentor and support team members to continuously elevate service standards and performance.
- Conduct effective shift briefings and handovers, ensuring clear communication and operational continuity.

Ensure staffing levels, training, and service quality meet operational and financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, food safety and responsible service standards.
About You
We are seeking a confident, polished and service-oriented hospitality professional who thrives in a luxury environment and genuinely enjoys creating meaningful guest experiences.
Your attributes include:

Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a luxury hotel, Club Lounge, Front Office or Food & Beverage environment.

Strong background in both Food & Beverage and Front Office operations.

Passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating personalized experiences.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Immaculate grooming and presentation.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.

The ability to confidently manage guest feedback and service recovery.

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Current VIC Responsible Service of Alcohol, Food Handlers, and Food Allergens Certificates (essential).
