Role Description
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is equally comfortable analysing a RevPAR report and walking the floor to ensure every room and common area meets the Elli standard. You will own the property's commercial performance, guest and resident experience, team culture, and physical presentation, reporting directly to the Elli Living leadership team.
Day-to-day, this means managing rate strategy and OTA distribution, coordinating outsourced housekeeping and maintenance providers, monitoring occupancy and revenue against budget, overseeing extended stay & short stay and handling escalated guest matters with professionalism. You will also contribute to broader business planning budgets, forecasting, cost control, and new property initiatives as Elli continues to grow its Australian portfolio.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations management within hospitality, serviced apartments, extended stay, co-living or a related accommodation environment.
- Strong people leadership skills, including team supervision, scheduling, coaching and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day property operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, inventory and vendor coordination.
- Solid financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost control, forecasting and operational reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve issues, manage escalations, and build stakeholder relationships.
- Experience with property management systems, reservations tools, and basic office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Ability to work on-site in the Melbourne area.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance requirements within a hospitality or property operations context.
