Physiotherapist
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with physical injuries, disabilities, and movement disorders. You will develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and enhance patients' overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical conditions, mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other evidence-based interventions.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Monitor patient progress, document treatment outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and professional treatment environment.
- Stay up to date with current physiotherapy practices, research, and professional development.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
- Current registration/licensure to practice as a Physiotherapist (as required by the relevant regulatory authority).
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, aged care, sports medicine, or private practice setting.
- Certifications in specialized physiotherapy techniques are an advantage.
