Business Analyst – Fund Management Location: Sydney

What You’ll Do
- Champion business analysis across the full delivery lifecycle—requirements, documentation, testing, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to translate high-value business needs into clear, prioritised requirements.
- Lead and facilitate workshops that shape product direction and inform design decisions.
- Work closely with development and UX teams to refine user stories and define intuitive, meaningful feature outcomes.
- Write concise user stories and acceptance criteria that enable high-quality builds.
- Identify business priorities, frame minimum viable products, and craft practical solutions with technical stakeholders.
- Continuously enhance processes, tools, and practices to boost productivity, quality, and security.
- Uphold company policies and information security obligations to maintain the highest standards of data protection.
What You Bring
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst, with significant experience in Agile delivery.
- Background in financial services—ideally wealth, investment management, fund registry, or trading environments.
- A proven ability to deliver multiple enterprise software projects across full development lifecycles.
- Outstanding communication skills and a talent for simplifying complex concepts into clear user stories.
- Strong analytical, requirements-gathering, and documentation capabilities (user stories, workflows, storyboards, etc.).
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and familiarity with BDD/Cucumber/specification-by-example (highly regarded).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
