We're looking for a proactive and practical Facilities Officer to join our facilities team supporting a leading corporate environment.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for maintaining safe, functional, and well-presented workplaces. From carrying out minor repairs and office refurbishments to coordinating maintenance activities and supporting contractors, you'll play a key role in keeping our facilities running smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone with handyman, maintenance, trade assistant, property services or building operations experience who is looking to develop a long-term career in Facilities Management.

Facilities Officer
Hands-On Facilities Maintenance & Workplace Services
What You'll Be Doing
General Maintenance & Repairs
Perform general handyman tasks and minor repairs.
Complete painting, patching, fixture replacements and basic carpentry works.
Conduct routine inspections and proactively identify maintenance issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day facility issues.
Refurbishments & Workplace Projects
Assist with office refurbishments and workspace improvements.
Support office fit-outs, furniture installations and workplace reconfigurations.
Coordinate minor works including painting, flooring and office upgrades.
Assist with project delivery and ensure works are completed safely and to a high standard.
Facilities Operations
Respond to maintenance requests and service tickets.
Support contractor management and site inductions.
Assist with compliance, workplace safety and building standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to support a positive workplace experience.
What We're Looking For
You'll bring:
Experience in facilities, maintenance, handyman services, trade assistance, building services or a similar role.
Practical skills and confidence using hand and power tools.
A proactive, "can-do" approach to problem solving.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
A commitment to workplace health and safety.
Bonus Points For
Trade qualification or apprenticeship.
Experience in commercial offices, property, facilities or building management.
