Kindergarten Additional Assistants - Casual - Clunes
We are expanding our team and are looking for dedicated and passionate people to work in kindergartens in Clunes. We have two school term placements on offer
1. Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm or
2. Wednesday & Thursday 9am-4.30pm
About the role:
Kindergarten Inclusion Support offers assistance to kindergartens to support the inclusion of children with disabilities. The role of the Additional Assistant is to support Early Childhood Educators in providing an inclusive program for all children in kindergarten.
This role will be responsible for the day-to-day support of children to safely access and participate in the kindergarten program, including:
- Assisting children with self-care tasks
- Assisting with everyday tasks for program delivery for all children
- Participate in staff planning meetings
Do you have
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and engage positively with teaching staff, families and children
- The ability to work under direction and work as part of a team
- Experience working with preschool children and/or disability sector an advantage
- The ability to use initiative, are you reliable and willing to learn and develop in the role
