About the role
Join our City Assets team and play a key role in maintaining the systems and data that support the management of Council's infrastructure assets. Working across OneCouncil (TechOne), ArcGIS and other asset management platforms, you'll help ensure asset information is accurate, accessible and fit for purpose.
In this role you will:
- Ensure information systems are correctly configured to support accurate asset inspections and works programs.
- Use OneCouncil (TechOne), ArcGIS and mobility platforms to manage and maintain Council's asset information.
- Administer the publication of asset information through internal and external platforms, including online mapping services.
- Liaise with Finance and Project Managers to capitalise and decommission assets in accordance with Council's policies and procedures.
- Maintain asset-based reporting systems and ensure data integrity across asset management platforms.
- Develop and maintain system configuration documentation within the asset management framework.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to systems, processes and data management practices.
Provide support across the broader City Assets team as required

About you
You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional who enjoys working with systems, data and stakeholders to deliver accurate and reliable outcomes. With strong technical and problem-solving skills, you thrive in a collaborative environment and take pride in delivering high-quality service to both internal and external customers.
You will also bring:
- Experience working with TechOne specially scheduling work, procurement and maintaining asset details.
- ArcGIS experience specialising in relational database management and domain maintenance.
- Understanding of civil infrastructure and natural bushland assets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using corporate systems for records, document management and customer request administration.
- Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed technical decisions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
The ability to work collaboratively across teams and effectively manage competing priorities

Certificate IV in Engineering, Asset Management OR Business Management and minimum 2 years of experience
