The Test Engineer – Electromechanical Systems role at PlasmaLeap Technologies is a hands-on engineering position focused on validating electrical and electromechanical systems from prototype stage through production deployment. The role is based in Camperdown, Sydney.
Main Responsibilities
Design and update PCBs, schematics, and electrical documentation
Build and integrate electrical cabinets, wiring harnesses, and test systems
Execute system integration, verification, and validation testing
Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform root-cause analysis
Conduct thermal, environmental, reliability, and HALT-style stress testing
Develop manufacturing and end-of-line test procedures
Work closely with mechanical, software, and systems engineers
Produce test reports and engineering documentation.
