Broadbeach Family Practice is a well-established, patient-focused clinic located in the heart of Broadbeach. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Registered Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative general practice environment.
As a Registered Nurse, you will support the clinical team across a range of duties, including (but not limited to):
- Assisting with patient care and clinical procedures
- Wound care and dressings
- Health assessments and care plan support
- Chronic disease management support
- Sterilisation and infection control processes
- Stock control and equipment management
- Cold chain monitoring and vaccine supplychain management
- Administrative and data quality tasks
- Supporting patient flow and coordination of care

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication
- Ability to follow procedures while exercising sound judgment within scope
- Initiative and a proactive approach to supporting both patients and clinicians

- Flexibility to assist with roster changes and leave coverage
- General practice experience is desirable but not essential
The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a genuine commitment to patient care. Building rapport with patients and working collaboratively within a team are essential to success in this role.
Skills & Experience:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Registered Nurse
- Understanding of infection control and clinical procedures
- Interest or experience in chronic disease management (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice
- Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented
- Computer literacy and ability to learn practice software
Remuneration:
Above award rates for Registered Nurses (depending on experience)
