EXPERIENCED TRUCK DRIVER
Our client, who has a soil and gardening supplies business, is looking for a new Truck Driver, who loves to drive and make their customers happy.
This role is a Full-Time position located in Neerabup, and they require your services as soon as possible.
You will be required to complete deliveries and pickups from our suppliers, loading and unloading of trucks, organising stock into the correct storage areas and maintain our storage and yard areas.
A high level of commitment to safety is a must for this role, as it involves inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and preventative maintenance including Pre-Inspection of all vehicles before operation every day and defect reports are to be completed.
This position requires you to be physically fit, and capable of conducting multiple deliveries with occasional manual unloads and has worked in a fast-paced environment.
You must have: -
- Current HR licence.
o Evidence of Truck Driving experience (min 12 months).
- Crane experience highly desirable but not essential and training would be provided.
o Crane & Dogging Ticket not necessary but highly desirable.
- Use of Front-End Loaders at times, experience not essential and training would be provided.
o Loader Ticket not necessary but highly desirable.
- Use of forklift at times, experience not essential and training would be provided.
o Forklift Ticket not necessary but highly desirable.
- Good attitude and reliable, excellent work ethic with the ability to work as part of a Team and on your own.
- Great communication skills.
- Team player/flexible.
- Always operate the vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Own reliable transport to get to and from work.
- Excellent time management, reliable and punctual.
- Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen.
- Happy disposition and high personal standards.
- Assist in additional yard and general duties.
Hours of Work
- 6.30am – 3pm
- Occasional overtime
- No weekend work
Salary
- Starting at $69,160 per annum plus super (depending on experience) and this will be reviewed after 3 months’ probation period.
