Build your allied health career before you graduate with a flexible Allied Health Assistant role based in Townsville. Designed for students studying Exercise Physiology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics or Podiatry, this opportunity allows you to gain hands-on clinical experience while completing your degree. With part-time or casual employment options, you can work around 1–2 days per week, making it easy to fit alongside your university commitments.
No previous hands-on experience in the allied health field is required, this role is designed to help you develop your clinical skills and confidence while learning from experienced professionals.

About the role
- Support allied health clinicians during client appointments.
- Prepare therapy resources and clinical equipment.
- Assist with therapy programs and client activities.
- Travel with clinicians to outreach communities as required.
- Build practical skills while you complete your degree.
Skills and experience
- Currently studying Exercise Physiology or Speech Pathology
- Completed relevant clinical placement(s) preferred.
- Current C Class Driver Licence
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Eligible for, or able to obtain, a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check
