Platypus Country Early Learning is a small regional early childhood service in Bombala, NSW. We are seeking a Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our supportive team in a permanent role, with full-time or part-time arrangements available. Rostered days can be discussed with the successful applicant.
About the role
- Work directly with children and support a safe, inclusive and engaging early learning program.
- Contribute to observations, planning, documentation and reflective practice.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Support the service to meet its obligations under the National Quality Framework and relevant policies.
Essential requirements
- An approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or an equivalent qualification approved by ACECQA.
- A current NSW Working With Children Check, or the ability to obtain one before commencing.
- Suitable experience working directly with children in an early childhood education and care setting.
- Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
- A genuine interest in joining and contributing to a small regional early childhood service.
Pay is $32.47–$36.57 per hour, depending on classification and experience, in accordance with the applicable Children's Services Award. Regional applicants are welcome to apply.
