What you will do
As manager, accommodation services, you will lead accommodation and facilities services across the department.
You will help ensure workplaces are safe, functional and ready to support service delivery.
You will:
-
develop strategic accommodation plans, standards and guidelines
-
lead complex accommodation projects, space planning and workplace improvements
-
manage critical property data, reporting and accommodation governance
-
support and lead high-performing team members across accommodation activities
-
resolve priority facilities issues and work with service providers to deliver practical solutions.
About you
A tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, a trade or a related discipline is highly desirable. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
You should also have:
-
strong facilities management knowledge within government settings
-
experience developing accommodation strategies and long-term plans
-
proven ability to lead property projects, maintenance works and workplace changes
-
excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
