Join our Strategy, Insights and Communications team as a Senior Digital Communication Officer and play a key role in shaping the department's digital presence. As the department's digital content specialist, you will lead the delivery of accessible, user-focused content across websites, intranet and email channels, helping ensure our information is engaging, easy to use and reaches the audiences who need it most.
Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of strategists, engagement professionals and communicators, you will partner with business areas across the department to deliver best-practice digital communication outcomes that support Queensland women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and multicultural communities.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development, publication and optimisation of content across the department's websites, intranet and franchise channels.
- Provide expert advice on digital publishing, content design, accessibility, usability and user experience.
- Sevelop and coordinate audience-focused content across digital channels, including web, intranet, email, social media and multimedia platforms.
- Support the planning, delivery and evaluation of digital communication campaigns and initiatives.
- Manage and utilise digital communication platforms, including content management systems and email marketing tools, to support communication and engagement activities.
- Analyse digital performance data and audience insights to improve content effectiveness, audience reach and user experience.
- Collaborate with communication and creative professionals to deliver engaging digital storytelling and multimedia content.
- Contribute to content strategies, governance frameworks, standards and continuous improvement initiatives across the department's digital channels.
We're looking for a motivated digital communications professional with experience developing and managing high-quality digital content, a strong understanding of accessibility and contemporary digital communication practices and a passion forcreating positive online experiences.
