Your Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Community Engagement Officer to join our team at TAFE Queensland's Cherbourg Campus (Nurunderi).
As the Community Engagement Officer, you will act as a primary point of contact at our local campus and within the regional community by connecting the broader regional community to training opportunities at TAFE Queensland.
This position is available on a temporary full-time basis (Monday to Friday, 36 hours and 15 mins per week) until 31 December 2026, unless otherwise determined. This position reports to the Manager, Business Development.
Salary
The salary range for this position at the AO4 classification level $92,262 - $101,137 (gross) per annum.

Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must possess the following:
current Queensland Driver's Licence;
current Blue Card or Exemption Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement), to comply with the Working with Children Check Act 2000.

One referee should be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person who can attest to the applicant's background, knowledge, skills and experience as they relate to the position requirements. This is requirement is pursuant to section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.
Highly Desirable
Candidates who possess the following will be highly regarded:
Demonstrated connections within the Cherbourg community, across different sectors.
Experience using a range of software systems, preferably for student administration management and customer service.
Vocational education and training experience or qualification.
Qualification in Business or similar.
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent.
