An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse to join the Nephrology Clinical Trials team at John Hunter Hospital.
As part of a supportive team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality clinical research and patient-centred care for participants in nephrology clinical trials.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, with a genuine interest in clinical research and improving outcomes for patients with kidney disease.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical and operational support for patients in nephrology clinical trials, including coordinating study visits.
- Supporting recruitment, retention, and accurate, timely clinical and research data collection.
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure compliance with study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
About You
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and a strong commitment to safe, high-quality, patient-centred care in line with NSW Health values.
You will demonstrate
Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate clinical and research documentation.
An interest in clinical research is essential, along with a commitment to learning, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding ethical practice standards.
- A current NSW Driver Licence (or equivalent), with willingness to travel for work as required.
Commitment to obtaining and maintaining ICH-GCP R3 certification.
