Kelv connects high-intent Australian homeowners with trusted solar and battery installers.
Our leads are inbound homeowners who have already requested information about solar or batteries. We're looking for someone with real solar experience (sales or installer side) to pre-qualify these leads before they're sent to our partners.
This is not cold calling. This is not a call center job. This is a hybrid role with a stable weekly base plus strong commission, built for someone who understands solar and knows how to spot a real opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Call warm inbound leads delivered directly into our CRM
- Ask structured qualification questions (current situation, pain point, budget, timeline, property feasibility)
- Confirm the homeowner is genuinely interested and ready to move forward with solar
- Make sure both decision-makers (both homeowners) are available at the appointment
- Pass qualified opportunities to the right installer partner

Requirements
- Genuine solar industry experience (sales or installer side)
- Australia-based, you'll be calling Australian homeowners
- Confident on the phone and skilled at asking the right questions
- Reliable, self-managed, results-oriented
- You operate as an independent contractor (ABN), or you're happy to set one up
What a Booked Appointment Means
A booked appointment is one where the homeowner is genuinely interested, ready to move forward with solar, and has confirmed they'll be free at the scheduled time for our installer partner to come and quote them. That's the bar.
Compensation
Three parts, so you have stability plus real upside:
- $200 AUD weekly base (guaranteed, so you can focus on quality without pressure)
- $50 AUD per booked appointment
- $25 AUD bonus when both homeowners are present at the appointment (paid regardless of whether it closes, because in solar both decision-makers really need to be there)
Uncapped on the booking and sit side, the more real opportunities you surface, the more you earn. Fully remote, flexible schedule.
Realistic OTE with normal volume: $2,000 to $5,000+ AUD per month.
A Second Door Can Open: Sales Assistant (Australia)
Some people start with the qualification role and grow into more. For the right candidate, a second opportunity can open up alongside (or instead of) the role above: a Sales Assistant working directly with our team to grow Kelv's partner network.
This is a different role with a different structure, and it's Australia-only.
What You'd Do
- Support our sales lead across the full partner sales cycle
- Run follow-ups and re-engagement with prospective and existing installer partners
- Launch and manage internal campaigns (email and SMS)
- Re-book and reschedule calls, keep the pipeline moving
- Help shape outreach strategy and partner activation
Requirements
- Must be Australian or Australia-based, non-negotiable
- Strong written and verbal English
- Comfortable with CRM, email/SMS tools, and structured follow-up
- Organized, proactive, and sales-minded
- Bonus: experience in solar or B2B sales support
Compensation
- Competitive base plus performance bonuses (different structure from the qualification role)
