The Centre provides a high level of education and care and is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher that will assist in making the service a point of difference from other child care providers. This position works alongside a team of professionals responsible for room management, child health and safety, education and planning and to enrich children’s lives through play-based learning.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualifications approved by ACECQ
- Hold a current registration with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Demonstrate an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Experience in the provision of producing quality educational programs for children aged 0 to 5 years of age
- The ability to work cooperatively and flexibly within a team environment.
- Good communication skills with the ability to develop relationships with children their families
- Able to comply with the requirements of the Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013 through the provision of a Working with Children Check clearance and National Child Safety Training
- Current approved First Aid qualification, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management qualification
- Must be able to satisfy the criteria for appointment as person in day-to-day charge of the service

This position requires a pre employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug and alcohol screen.
Salary: $1,349.60 - $1,417.96 per week + 12 % superannuation
Position Status: Permanent Full-Time
Hours of work: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm on a rotating roster and rostered day off every three weeks
