- Salary MDP-2 $99,707 - $158,523 p.a.+ super + salary packaging
- Full-time temporary
Duration of the training program: 6 or 12 month contract fulltime available
Term of the Contract: 3 Years in line with clause 52 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement
At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3 year contract.

About the Role
Join a supportive endocrine team delivering care across CALHN sites. You’ll manage complex endocrine and diabetes patients, build strong clinical links and help shape high quality inpatient and ambulatory services, while growing skills in teaching and research.
Duties
- Manage inpatient and ambulatory endocrine care
- Assess, treat and review complex diabetes cases
- Support and guide junior doctors and students
- Work closely with nursing and allied health teams
- Contribute to teaching, audit and research
- Partner with community health providers and trainers
About You
You are a motivated medical practitioner with a strong foundation in endocrine and diabetes care.
- MBBS or equivalent, AHPRA general registration eligible
- FRACP Part I (written and clinical) completed
- Apply sound clinical judgement in patient care
- Communicate clearly within multidisciplinary teams
- Balance workload with strong time and priority skills
