About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, reliable and hardworking team member to join our bar and bottleshop. The ideal candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails according to venue recipes
- Pour and serve beer (tap and packaged) with proper hygiene and pour standards
- Greet and welcome customers in a professional and approachable manner
- Operate POS system for sales and transactions
- Restock shelves, fridges, and bar stations as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of bar, retail floor, glassware, and work areas
- Follow RSA guidelines and ensure responsible service at all times
- Assist with general store duties, including unpacking deliveries and stock rotation
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Previous bar or retail experience preferred (not essential — training provided)
- Ability to make standard cocktails or willingness to learn
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Must hold a valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
