The Role:
Casual Dental Assistant to work 2 days per week (Tuesdays and preferably Monday). Family friendly schedule with no weekends. Dental assisting experience and knowledge is an asset. Additional on the job training is available for the right candidate who is keen to learn. Above all, we are seeking a reliable, honest and punctual individual who enjoys helping people and has attention to detail. Permitted to work permanently with no restrictions (citizen, permanent resident).
Responsibilities:
As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for
- Preparing treatment rooms, materials and instruments for dental procedures.
- Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment in accordance with Infection Control and Safety guidelines.
- Greeting patients and preparing patients for treatment.
- Helping to take medical and dental records, digital impression scans and x-rays.
- Providing chairside assistance and suction during dental procedures.
- Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
- Collaborating with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience.
