As part of our continued growth, Adaptalift Group has been appointed as a major national dealer for JCB construction, agricultural and industrial equipment in Australia. Combining our national service network with JCB's globally recognised product range and loyal following, we're building an exciting new dealership with ambitious plans for growth.
We're now looking for a motivated Territory Manager to help establish JCB within the QLD region by developing new customer relationships, growing market share and delivering outstanding equipment solutions to the construction and earthmoving industries.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Business Development: Build a strong pipeline through prospecting, site visits, referrals and lead generation while developing new business across contractors, earthmoving companies, civil contractors, municipalities and construction businesses.
- Account Management: Develop trusted long-term customer relationships, identify new opportunities within existing accounts and provide ongoing support throughout the customer journey.
- Sales & Equipment Solutions: Conduct site inspections, understand customer requirements, demonstrate JCB equipment, prepare quotations, negotiate sales and oversee equipment handover.
- Territory Management: Own your territory by executing a structured call plan, monitoring competitor activity and identifying new market opportunities to maximise JCB market share.
What It Takes To Succeed:
You're a proactive, relationship-driven salesperson who enjoys being on the road, meeting customers and building long-term partnerships. You're comfortable walking onto construction sites, asking questions, uncovering opportunities and turning conversations into sales.
We're particularly interested in candidates from backgrounds including:
- Construction equipment sales
- Earthmoving equipment sales
- Capital equipment or machinery sales
- Agricultural machinery sales
- Automotive dealership sales
- Truck or transport equipment sales
- Materials handling or forklift sales
- Industrial equipment or plant hire sales
You'll Also Bring:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in B2B sales, territory management or account management
- Proven business development and prospecting capability
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to manage your own territory, pipeline and CRM activity
- Mechanical aptitude or an interest in construction and heavy equipment (highly regarded)
