ABOUT THE BRANCH
The Digital Services Branch manages the ICT systems that support the SDO-ERP and PEMS platforms, delivering corporate services to client agencies and parliamentarians. The branch is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of these systems, as well as the department's Service Management and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) capabilities.
This role is within the Service Optimisation Section, a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing, developing and supporting digital solutions using the ServiceNow platform for the SDO Portal and the Blue Prism platform for RPA.
The section administers and manages these critical platforms, providing reliable, secure and user-focused services to approximately 14,000 employees across the department and shared service client agencies. Responsibilities include platform sustainment, continuous improvement, scalability, governance, compliance and alignment with departmental digital objectives and broader Australian Government digital standards.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Service Optimisation Team Lead supports the EL2 Director, Digital Service Optimisation, in driving strategic delivery, performance oversight and data-informed decision-making across the ServiceNow platform and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) capability.
