This has created an opportunity for two AI & Automation Engineers to join us on our journey! You will have deployed AI & Automation solutions across varied use cases and looking to bring your technical skills to an environment where you can make a difference.
About Your Role
These newly created roles will report to the Senior Manager, AI & Automation within our Transformation office.
The Al & Automation Engineer/s is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining intelligent automation and Al-enabled solutions that improve operational efficiency, service quality, and decision making across Scope.
The role partners with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and Al, translate them into scalable solutions, and ensure their safe, ethical, and effective deployment in line with Scope's mission to support people with disability
You will play a key role in advancing Scope's Al & Automation strategy by:
- Driving the implementation of automation and Al solutions across business and service delivery functions.
- Enhancing workforce capacity by reducing manual, repetitive tasks and enabling staff to focus on high-value, client-centred work.
- Ensuring solutions are compliant with regulatory, privacy, accessibility, and ethical standards relevant to disability services
- Supporting the ongoing performance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of deployed automations and Al systems.
Your Key Focus
As a direct report to the Senior Manager, AI & Automation.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Solution Development
- Design automation workflows using the power platform, UiPath and similar technologies.
- Develop Al agents and applications using Copilot Studio, Al Foundry and related platforms.
- Prototype, test and validate Al concepts before deployment.
- Support integration with enterprise systems, APIs and data services.
- Document and knowledge share all developed Al and automations.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with business stakeholders to identify automation and Al opportunities.
- Work with the enterprise architect to translate business requirements into technology solutions that adhere to Scope's architectural principles and are cohesive with the desired technical architecture.
- Collaborate with 'CT, Business Intelligence and other digital teams.
Governance & Quality
- Apply quality assurance processes to Al and automation solutions.
- Ensure adherence to governance, compliance and accessibility standards
Project & Change Support
- Support project planning, design documentation and benefits tracking.
- Identify risks, issues and barriers associated with implementation.
- Assist with change requests, enhancements and bug resolution activities.
- Ensure client quality, safeguarding and human-centred design are central to the design, development and deployment of AI and automation solutions.
Your Technical Capabilities
- Build and maintain automations using Power Platform and UiPath technologies.
- Develop Al applications using Copilot Studio, Azure Al Foundry and related services.
- Apply knowledge of machine learning, NLP, Generative Al and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Develop solutions using Python, JavaScript and NET technologies.
- Work with Azure cloud services, authentication, deployment and monitoring tools.
- Integrate solutions through APIs, SDKs and enterprise systems.
- Work with structured data and Azure Data Services
- Managing competing priorities, budgets, vendors and organisational resources
