Equans AV Technologies Pty Ltd, are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join our experienced team working across a wide variety of sites and industries.
The purpose of this position is to deliver systems of the highest engineering quality for our clients. The Senior Engineer is responsible for ensuring that every project meets the Company engineering standards and legislative requirements.

Role overview:
The purpose of this position is to deliver systems of the highest engineering quality for our clients. The Senior Engineer is responsible for ensuring that every project meets the Company engineering standards and legislative requirements.
- Working with the Sales Representatives and Technical Consultants to design customised AV solutions.
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education to the sales team, customers and prospects.
- Preparing documents for tenders & sales material.
- Interpreting customer requirements, speaking with customers or prospects to understand their needs
- and relay this information to the Sales Representative and Technical Consultant.
- Performing technical presentations that demonstrate how products and services can benefit and meet
- customer or prospect needs.
- Maintaining in depth product knowledge pertaining to the products and services offered by the
- allocated practice.
- Serving as liaison with other departments in the company to gather technical expertise for supporting
- the sales team.
- Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other related events.
- Documentation of professional engineering reports (eg: design brief, scope of works, root cause
- analysis and technical road maps).
- Other duties as directed.

About you:
Skills and experience:
- Bachelor of Electrical / Audio Engineering (Highly ,Desirable)
- 3+ years of experience as either a customer facing AV Engineer, Solution Architect, AV Commissioner or equivalent experience supporting enterprise accounts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Enjoy working with customers and external
- Audiences & passion for AV industry and its’ amazing technology and solutions
- Pre OR Post sales experience is a plus
- Must have a Technical mindset
