We are seeking Female Support Care Workers for a young adult male with complex needs requiring in home care.

We are currently seeking Female Support Care Workers in the North Brisbane area for our young adult male client who is needing in home care.
Responsibilities
Medication preparation and administration: prepare, deliver and administer medication as required.
Assistance with Personal Activities: supporting the development of daily living and life skills Including hygiene, dressing and domestic tasks and showering.
Household Tasks: Laundry, general household services
Meal preparation and delivery.
Participation in the Community: from supporting the client during individual and group community activities to supported medical appointments, sporting and recreational events, social activities, visiting and/or making new friends, building confidence and social skills.
Assistance with Transport: to and from their home for daytime activities, school, appointments, etc as required.
Skills and qualifications
· Must have Certificate 3 in Disability Care, Individual Support and/or Community Care, equivalent or higher
· Must have Current First Aid and CPR Certificate from an Australian provider or willingness to obtain
· Must have The Basics of Infection Prevention and Control - The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care
· Must have Hand hygiene for clinical healthcare workers - The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care
· Must have Current Australian Federal Police check - No more than 3 months old
· Hold a Medication Certification
· Hold their Blue Card (WWCC) and Yellow Card (NDIS Screening)
· Must have a current Driver’s license and own vehicle
· Must have experience working with client(s) with complex needs
· Minimum 3-4 days a week availability
· Must live in North Brisbane
· Ability to work with diverse people
· Clear and concise communication skills
· Calm and rational response to emergency
· The ability to develop a positive relationship with the client
· Support their individual care plan as appropriate
Pay: $45.28 per hour
