Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Hydraulic Cylinder Fitter to join our Afternoon Shift team at our modern, well-equipped Perth workshop.

About You
You are a motivated tradesperson who values quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork. You will have:
- Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate (Fitter, Fitter & Turner or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in hydraulic cylinder repair, heavy equipment maintenance, or a related mechanical trade
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Experience working within quality management systems (ISO 9001 experience desirable)
- Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to workplace safety
Experience within the hydraulic cylinder overhaul industry is highly regarded; however, training will be provided to the right candidate with the appropriate trade background.
Key Responsibilities
- Strip, inspect, assess and rebuild hydraulic cylinders for heavy mining equipment
- Measure and inspect components to determine serviceability
- Assemble hydraulic cylinders to engineering specifications and quality standards
- Pressure test completed hydraulic cylinders prior to dispatch
- Identify and report damaged or non-conforming components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly documentation
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and customer deadlines

Applicants must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or hold a valid Australian work visa.
Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
