We're currently looking for 3 x Casual Animal Attendants to join our team in Balliang East, VIC, working in our boarding kennels, with additional shifts supporting our transport service. Shifts are available across Monday to Sunday.

Duties and responsibilities:

Provision of food and water for animals in care
-
Health checks and general husbandry
-
Supervising groups of animals and managing their behaviours to maintain overall wellbeing and safety
-
Providing enrichment through scheduled activities
-
Frequent cleaning and upkeep of facility to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety
-
Building and maintaining rapport with owners through feedback and transparency
-
Creating and distributing media content for owners through videos and photos
-
Daily administration such as answering enquiries via email and phone, record keeping and entering information into our booking systems

Transporting animals to and from our facility as part of our transport/driver duties
-
Handling animals in line with company policies and procedures
Key requirements:

Must hold a full driver's licence and be a confident driver
-
Confident working in a kennel environment
-
Available to attend a lawful unpaid work trial shift (operated within The Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines)

Available across Monday to Sunday, including weekends
-
Driven with a strong work ethic, as the role can be challenging and physical

Attentive with great attention to detail
-
Works well in a team environment
-
Able to follow routines, policies and procedures

Previous experience working with animals is preferred
