Dear Dear Dumpling is a Chinese restaurant in Sydney specialising in handmade dumplings and authentic dishes. We prepare every item fresh daily, offering bold flavours and a relaxed dining experience. The company is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join us on a permanent full-time basis. If you’re a marketing-savvy self-starter with the communication skills and the research skills and persistence to figure out anything you’re given, then this is the position for you.
Duties and responsibilities of the position：
- Identify target markets and analyse customer trends to support the restaurant’s growth and positioning;
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote menu offerings, seasonal specials, and brand awareness;
- Plan and execute advertising, digital marketing, and social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, Google, and food delivery apps;
- Draft and develop marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and relevant campaigns;
- Create and manage marketing content, including promotional materials, menus, and online listings;
- Coordinate promotional activities and events to increase customer engagement and foot traffic;
- Evaluate and reviewing marketing campaigns and report to management. Maintain and develop partnerships with delivery platforms and local business networks;
- Plan and execute events that drive brand awareness and restaurant traffic
Skills and experience required:
- Tertiary education in marketing, business or related field
- English and Mandarin bilingual language skills are essential
- Minimum 1 year experience in a marketing role;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Understanding and ability to apply digital marketing methods;
- Ability to think creatively and bring innovative solutions to marketing challenges;
- Ability to work individually as well as contribute to a team；
- Strong internal and external relationship management skills.
