This position is best suited to experienced support workers who are confident working in structured environments and can remain calm, professional and consistent when responding to complex situations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualised daily living support
- Supporting community access and social participation
- Following individual support and Positive Behaviour Support Plans
- Using positive and proactive behaviour support strategies
- Supporting medication requirements within your training and competency
- Supporting established routines and promoting independence
- Recognising changes in presentation and escalating concerns appropriately
- Maintaining professional boundaries
- Completing accurate case notes and incident reports
- Working collaboratively with other members of the support team
- Following NDIS requirements and Nurture Care Australia policies and proceduresWe are particularly interested in applicants who have previous experience supporting participants with:
- Complex and high-intensity support needs
You will be calm, confident, reliable, patient and consistent, with the ability to follow established support plans and work effectively as part of a team.

- De-escalation and crisis prevention strategiesSuccessful applicants will be required to hold or obtain:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Relevant NDIS Worker Orientation training
- Medication competency where required
- Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated disability support experience
- Reliable transport where required
Pay: $36.00 – $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
