Cadence Connect has been engaged to recruit a Financial Accountant for a well-established organisation operating within a complex, multi-entity environment. This is a great opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys working in structured finance environments and can quickly add value across month-end, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
Working closely with senior finance leadership, you’ll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting compliance obligations, and delivering accurate and timely reporting outcomes.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing month-end processes across assigned entities and portfolios
- Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
- Delivering balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Supporting BAS preparation, compliance activities, and audit requirements
- Assisting with cash flow, debtor management, and working capital processes
- Supporting fixed asset and capital expenditure reporting
- Contributing to process improvement and finance system initiatives
- Liaising with operational stakeholders and supporting finance governance frameworks
About You
To be successful, you will ideally bring:
- Previous experience in a Financial Accountant position within a multi-entity environment
- Strong understanding of month-end close and financial reporting processes
- Proven experience preparing detailed balance sheet reconciliations
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- ERP system experience (MYOB or similar preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
- CA/CPA qualification or currently working towards completion
