A professional family based in Darling Point, NSW is seeking a reliable, caring and engaging nanny to support their 8-year-old son each Tuesday afternoon and evening.
This role is ideal for a nanny who genuinely enjoys working with school-aged children and values building a strong, positive connection with the child and family. There is also the potential for additional afternoon hours in the future for the right candidate. The family is looking for someone who is warm, patient, dependable and interactive, with a strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
The nanny will collect the child from school in Ultimo and drive him home to Darling Point before supporting him through the afternoon and evening routine.
The focus of the role is creating a positive, engaging and supportive environment where the child feels encouraged, connected and cared for.
A typical afternoon may include:

School pick-up from Ultimo and safe transportation home

Engaging in play, conversation and age-appropriate activities

Assisting with homework and school-related tasks

Encouraging learning through interactive play and discussion

Preparing and cooking dinner

Supporting the evening routine

Helping prepare for bedtime

Providing attentive, nurturing care throughout the shift
While the child remains the priority, the family would appreciate assistance with:
