Café All-Rounder (Permanent Part-Time)
At Hay & Hide Café, we pride ourselves on serving high-quality coffee, freshly made sandwiches, and house-baked pastries, all delivered with exceptional customer service. We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and efficient Café All-Rounder to join our permanent part-time team.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare sandwiches consistently by following standardised recipes.
- Toast sandwiches and assist with preparing and baking café products.
- Welcome and assist customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately using the ABACUS POS system.
- Preparing cold drinks and assisting barista making shots for morning coffee rush.
- Process payments efficiently and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A minimum of 6 months’ café or hospitality experience in Australia (essential).
- A reliable, punctual, and responsible attitude.
- A positive work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team.
- The ability to work efficiently
