Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor project budgets, commitments, actual costs and forecasts.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, cashflow forecasts and financial analysis.
- Maintain project cost control systems, cost codes and reporting structures.
- Track project expenditure and forecast final costs.
- Review invoices, purchase orders, variations and contract commitments.
- Assist with risk, change and scope control processes.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, procurement and finance teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project controls and reporting systems.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in Project Controls, Cost Control, Cost Engineering or Project Services.
- Experience on construction, infrastructure, mining, energy or industrial projects.
- Strong cost forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with project scheduling and cost management software.
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Pay: $50.00 – $65.00 per hour
