We provide care and support to participants with complex health needs, including mental health, challenging behaviours and high-intensity support needs.
The Enrolled Nurse and Support Worker are responsible for the delivery of safe and effective nursing care, under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).
This is not agency work. You'll work consistently with the same participants, supporting them in the comfort of their own homes. That means more meaningful relationships, greater continuity of care, and the opportunity to truly make a difference.
- Enrolled Nurses: $44.03 + super+ penalties (inc. cas. loading)
- Support Workers: $41.83 + super+ penalties (inc. cas. loading).
- Adhere to positive behaviour support plans & implementing documented strategies to best support positive outcomes for the participant.
- Support the participant with orientation and mobility within their home and community environments, ensuring safe navigation and access to their surroundings while considering the impacts of blindness.
- Deescalate and provide mental health support and manage & provide a safe & calm environment.
- Attend to personal cares, catheter flushes, medication administration and relevant high-intensity support requirements.
- Support participants with daily supports including light domestic tasks, transport, meal preparation, companionship.
- Approach complex situations with calm, compassion, and professionalism—your presence can be a powerful source of reassurance.
- Use encouragement and motivation to support participants to independence and other personal goals.
- Work closely with your fellow team members to create a smooth, stable, and positive service environment as a team player. If a colleague needs help, lend a hand. We've got each other's backs.
- Complete required documentation, including shift notes, incident reports and data collections via in-house support charts, and contribute to the development, modification & evaluation of Participant Care Plans.
- Build strong rapport with participants and stakeholders.
- Attend to medical emergencies & provide first aid as required.
- Have a positive can-do attitude, with the ability to focus on a holistic approach to support, encompassing a wellbeing and clinical lens within your support framework.

- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with no restrictions (ENs)
Relevant nursing qualifications for EN roles
For Support Worker Position
- Relevant Disability Support Work qualifications for Disability Support worker position Cert III Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services, Disability Work or similar
For both positions

A minimum of 6-12 months of experience supporting participants with complex health and mental health needs
- Work a rotating roster with a willingness to work night duty (if required) including inactive and active sleepovers
- Lived or worked experience supporting participants with complex health, mental health and positive behaviour support plan implementation
- Demonstrate strong de-escalation skills by responding to distress, anxiety, confusion, or challenging situations with patience, empathy, and professionalism, maintaining a safe and calming environment while using strategies tailored to the participant's individual needs and communication preferences.
- Excellent technological, communication and time management skills
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate at the time of application
- Relevant compliance checks, including valid NDIS Worker Screening Check & Blue Card at the time of application
- Valid driver's license and have own vehicle at the time of application
