About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and versatile Home Care Workers to provide high-quality, routine morning support for a client living on beautiful Bribie Island.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated carer looking for local, stable, and long-term weekday hours. Your role will be essential in helping the client start their day safely, maintaining a comfortable home environment, and ensuring they stay active and socially connected to the local Bribie community.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care: Assisting with morning routines, including dignified showering, dressing, grooming, and hygiene support.
Domestic Assistance: Helping with light housekeeping, including tidying, laundry, vacuuming, mopping, and basic meal preparation.
Transportation & Errands: Safely driving the client to medical appointments, local shopping centres, or running everyday errands.
Social Support & Companionship: Providing engaging companionship and accompanying the client on outings (e.g., local cafes, parks, or walks along the Pumicestone Passage) to enhance their quality of life.
Requirements & Qualifications
Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing Support, Disability, or equivalent (highly regarded).
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
National Police Check.
Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable, clean, and comprehensively insured vehicle (essential for community transport and outings).
A warm, patient, and professional approach to home care work.
Valid working rights in Australia.
