Description:
An important role within our Operations business unit, reporting to our Senior Insurance Operations Manager, as an Insurance Claims Specialist at Equip you will be responsible for managing and progressing a portfolio of insurance claims, ensuring each claimant receives a high quality, supportive experience aligned with our values.
This role is focused on active case management, gathering information, connecting the dots and ensuring claims move efficiently toward resolution. The role may also require escalating a claim or acknowledging a complaint.
Working collaboratively to deliver positive claimant outcomes, you will be coordinating with a range of internal and external stakeholders such as administrators, insurers, and medical and legal professionals.
Skills and Experiences:
To be successful in this role and business you are someone who thrives in a people focused, high-contact role, and is motivated by making a genuine difference.
Experience in insurance claims, superannuation, workers compensation, case management, allied health or similar with strong stakeholder and case management exposure would transfer well to this role.
A proactive approach, exceptional communication skills and sound judgement are key attributes needed to make the expected impact this role can have.
