Position Title: Admissions Officer
Reports to: General Manager

Imperial Engineering Education (IEE) is a registered higher education provider that delivers innovative engineering courses based in Adelaide, South Australia. At IEE, we are offering Master of Engineering Management and two Bachelor of Engineering Technology Degrees, specifically designed to cater to the growing demands of Advanced Manufacturing and Renewable Energy sectors.
The Admissions Officer is responsible for delivering an exceptional admissions experience for prospective international students by assessing applications, processing offers and enrolments. In this role, Admission officer willl play a key part in , providing expert advice to students and education agents, and ensuring compliance with Australian education regulations. Going through GSR documentation process is mandatory and priority.rior to issue the Letter of offers.
The role will act as a key point of contact for prospective students, schools, agents, and other stakeholders, providing expert advice on IEE’s programs and facilitating the enrolment process. Additionally, the role supports marketing initiatives, event management, and data-driven decision-making to meet enrolment targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess international student applications,
- Issuance of student Letter of offer promotly within the agreed timeline
- Process Confirmations of Enrolment (CoEs) through PRISMS and maintain accurate student records within the student management system.
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from students, education agents and internal stakeholders via phone, email and other communication channels.
- Provide accurate advice regarding admission requirements, program information.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams including Student Services, Sales & Marketing, Senior management and Academic staff to ensure seamless admissions processes.
- Generate reports and maintain accurate admissions data to support operational requirements.
- Focused on continuous improvement and maintain the standards to meet students and agents expectations.
Essential:
- Work experience in International education sector.
- Strong understanding in processing international student applications
- Sound understanding of the Australian international education sector, admissions processes and relevant legislation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, agents and internal stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and experience using student management systems.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
- A proactive, adaptable approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and delivering outstanding service.
- Sound understanding of GSR/ GTE process in assessing offshore student applicaitons.
