We are looking for a qualified RN with minimum of 3 years experience who has a current driver’s license and car to join our rapidly growing team.
Performs nursing care to client/participant in accordance with an established plan of care in accordance with Right at Home policies and procedures, and all other laws and relevant professional standards.
Key Selection Criteria
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and CPR qualification.
- Experience in working within the health, community, or aged-care and disability sector
- Australian Federal Police Clearance Certificate.
- Driver’s License and comprehensively insured dependable private vehicle.
- Experience with continence assessments, catheter care, complex wound management, medication, and diabetes management.
- Knowledge of chronic condition management and palliative.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and actively contribute to organization.
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal/communication skills (written and oral), and an ability to lead and motivate the Care Team in the achievement of organizational goals.
- Demonstrated understanding of the roles and relationships between the Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse, Personal Care Assistance, and Companion Care Workers.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Client/participants/ significant others and other members of the Care Team.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and promote the safety of client/participants, self and others, including a knowledge of
- emergency procedures and Work Health and Safety.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Legislation applicable to the Role of the Registered Nurse in the Home Care environment.
