About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly and collaborative team at Slade Pharmacy, Victoria Parade.
In this role, you will work closely with within a tight-knit team to deliver high-quality pharmacy services to a brand-new hospital in Alphington. You will be involved in dispensing medications, managing ward stock, supporting patient discharges, and providing personalised service to patients, carers, and hospital staff.
You will receive hands-on training and ongoing support to help you grow your skills, with opportunities to explore development and growth in a wide variety of hospital services and compounding.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing hospital ward stock ordering and supplies.
- Dispensing and supply of medications for hospital patients under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Process PBS claims and assist in producing medication profiles to hospital patients on discharge
- Provide support to patients, carers and hospital staff
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff, nurses, and community health workers to ensure optimal health outcomes for patients.
- Assist with patient account enquiries
About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about joining our team and delivering modern, patient-focused pharmacy services.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Australian community or hospital pharmacy
- Own transportation and willingness to travel offsite.
- Familiarity with dispensing medication and FRED Dispense (preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and as part of a team
- Adaptable, with a commitment to learning and embracing change
- Attention to detail and a genuine drive to positively impact patient health
