THE ROLE
The Senior Employee Relations Adviser expert advice and support to Departmental management and staff on the full range of employee, industrial and workplace relations issues and contributes to the development of confident and competent people managers.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide expert and strategic advice as required on a broad range of employee relations issues and other major risk factors impacting on the achievement of effective industrial relations outcomes.
- Contribute to and support the management and implementation of employee relations projects and initiatives such as enterprise bargaining activities, organisational change initiatives and developing policy positions for the industrial relations agenda of the and liaison across the department on ER matters.
- Contribute to and maintain strong positive relationships and engagement with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, including with unions and industrial associations.
