We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Podiatrist to join our growing community allied health team, providing podiatry services exclusively to aged care clients across Campbelltown.
This role is ideal for a podiatrist looking for flexible community-based work with a straightforward remuneration structure and the opportunity to support older adults to maintain their mobility, independence and foot health.
Role responsibilities
- Provide community-based podiatry assessments and treatment to aged care clients.
- Complete routine foot and nail care where clinically appropriate.
- Assess and manage common foot conditions affecting older adults.
- Provide diabetic foot assessments and ongoing monitoring where required.
- Assess skin integrity, circulation, sensation and general foot health.
- Provide footwear and foot-care education to clients, families and carers.
- Identify clients who may require further medical or specialist review.
- Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation.
- Communicate with case managers, GPs and other allied health professionals where required.
- Deliver respectful, person-centred care within clients' homes and community settings.
Remuneration
$130 per completed client session.
Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Podiatry.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist.
- Current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
- National Police Check.
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a community setting.
- Previous aged care or community podiatry experience is desirable but not essential.
