The opportunity
As a newly created position within the structure, our Corporate Applications team are seeking a Support Analyst to administer and maintain Councils Microsoft 365 platform (including SharePoint, Power Platform, Copilot, Teams and Purview).
A core focus of the role is to actively support Council’s strategy to expand the use of Microsoft applications across the organisation, leveraging the M365 licensing to enhance Council workflows, improve user experience and unlock productivity through SharePoint, the Power Platform and Copilot. Teams and OneDrive are in scope where they integrate with MyPort and SharePoint functionality, but Teams calling and meetings, personal OneDrive and Exchange-linked functions remain with ICT Operations.
The position reports directly to the Corporate Applications Lead and works under the technical direction of the relevant Product Owners (M365 Product Owner for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 platforms) for platform design and escalation. The role is Council's primary point of contact for day-to-day M365 operations and user support within the Corporate Applications and Data team.
Success in this role will come with strong problem solving skills and an ability to think outside of the box when working within Power Platform and Purview.

- Microsoft 365 platform including SharePoint, Power Platform, Copilot, Purview and Teams/OneDrive where integrated with SharePoint and MyPort
- Civica’s “Authority” suite of applications
- OpenText Content Manager
- GIS ESRI
- This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
- Base Salary Range: $90,888 to $106,927 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + retention allowance
- You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace
